Vacancy – Electrical Site Supervisor

We are the leading electrical utility contractor in the south west, and an Accredited Independent Connection Provider (ICP).

Our Engineers and Technicians specialise in the design, construction, maintenance and eventual end of life management (decommissioning) of private and public distribution networks. We are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Electricial Supervisor (Electrician) to join our team.

Role Description

The role will require you to work on a range of projects across the South and further afield.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Site Supervisor, the office base is located in Wimborne with on-site working in a diverse range of construction sites. The Electrical Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and mentoring junior technicians at job sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. The Electrical Site Supervisor will also be responsible for managing the on-site team and communicating updates and progress to management.

Skills & Qualifications

Essentials

  • Minimum of a level 3 qualification (Regulated Qualifications Framework) in an Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) at Level 3 (Regulated Qualifications Framework)
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Experience in supervising and assessing Apprentice/Junior Staff on-site performance and portfolio builds.
  • ECS Gold Card Holder or equivalent, including eligibility for renewal with applicable evidence.
  • Inspection & Testing experience, preferably hold C&G 2391 or eqv.

Desirable

  • Qualifications in LV and HV craftsperson skills up to 11kV in accordance with the National Skills Academy Power Technical Specification.
  • EUSR Registration
  • Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) at level 3 (Regulated Qualifications Framework)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification
  • AP/SAP-Electrical Certification
  • Current UK Government SC Clearance or eligibility for SC clearance
  • Clean Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of SCADA, COP3/5, Metering, Protection systems
